In this inaugural episode of a brand new show for 60 Minutes With, we teamed up with the podcasters at The Wilder Ride to rant for an hour.

Our goal is to team up with others, too, as we bring this new offering to our slate of shows.

In this episode, Alan Sanders, Ben Ford and Walt Murray open with a quick discussion over who is actually hosting and quickly moved to a discussion of "growers" vs "showers."

The main topic was kicked off from a discussion over a Northwestern University, known for their school of journalism, printing an apology for printing an actual news story. Apparently, if the newspaper covers a guest speaker who has a different political persuasion, it can be so upsetting so as to require the news event to be ignored. The conversation rolls onto why is it so hard to open our minds to other points of views and perspectives? What is so damaging in listening to others who have a different experience? Isn't being in an institution of higher learning supposed to be about exposing ourselves to a wide range of topics and ideas?

As the show begins to wind down, Ben brings up one of his personal pet peeves related to his business and that's people putting nasty items into bins meant to collect clothing for the poor and needy. We also briefly cover when is it too early to start decorating for Christmas.
