Really the only thing that stops us from being just like Jesse Plemons in Begonia is that none of us are beekeepers.

Waitaminute- Jon is a beekeeper. I guess it’s time for us to kidnap a CEO. This podcast is about to really take a turn. Hit us up in the comments if you’re a CEO who would like to be kidnapped by the three of us.

Anyways, it’s hard to get out to the movies these days and by hard I mean really fucking expensive. Factor in a baby-sitter and you’re looking at dropping $200 on a Friday night at the movies with a food-court dinner. I wonder if high-school kids still go to the movies for dates or if they’re totally priced out of that too.

We talk about a few other pretty recent flicks like Caught Stealing and Asteroid City and then Scott talks about a film that is definitely not that recent: The Long Goodbye.

Then we talk about The Pink Panther and how it might be one of the greatest theme songs of all time. Stay tuned for some future episode of 9ES where we rank the greatest theme songs of all time… probably.

Meanwhile on a brand new episode of Garbage Time we talk about some of the dumbest matches in pro-wrestling history including the infamous “Kennel Match” where a bunch of scared dogs just peed and pooped all over the place. I guess talking about things really going to shit leads us to (of course) talk about the Toronto Maple Leafs. There’s a connection there I just know it.

If you would like to show your support and head over to Patreon and subscribe at the 9ES Deluxe tier to listen to this and all past episodes of Garbage Time that would be appreciated.
