This week we finish up examining Stoner Metal, by looking at some more contemporary bands. While looking at groups from Poland, The Netherlands, and The US (Boston, Austin, Orange County) We come to the incredible conclusion: Martin likes Stoner Metal! We also break down the spectrum of Stoner Metal suggesting one aspect is aimed toward building the perfect riff, then basing the rest of the song around it, or trying to incorporate a wide variety of improvisations/pyschodelics which collectively make up the Stoner Metal sound.
