Black-Eyed News:

Story 1)I went light on the news this week to allow for all of the music so the first item up is the list of people playing at the Inauguration and the Commander-in-Chief’s Ball as given to us by our friends at Rolling Stone magazine. The list is pretty interesting Lady Gaga, Brad Paisley, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys among some at the Inauguration. At the Commander-in Chief’s Ball which is an event in honor of the Armed Forces some of the participants include Beyonce, James Taylor and Kelly Clarkson

And as promised, the funny but inadvertent photo-bombing of Kelly Clarkson by President Clinton.

Story 2) As you know I am a huge fan of American Blues Scene’s website so much so that we here at OnTheHorn.com sent them money for their pledge drive so they can actually start printing a magazine. They had an interesting piece about cover versions of songs and the legal issues involved with the process of using someone elses music. The article was good and eyeopening without getting bogged down in legalise. I will post the link to it in my weekly write up for those of you that are interested.
