In this episode, we're featuring the debut album from Lynn Anderson on the Chart record label: Ride, Ride, Ride (1967). Having freshly moved over from Sacramento, CA with her mother - RCA Victor recording artist and famous songwriter Liz Anderson - this album features a great selection of uptempo 60s traditional country tunes, and some wonderful steel guitar picking from the sublime Lloyd Green. Indeed, it is Green who endorses Lynn on the back of the original vinyl record calling her a force that "will be around the country music scene for a long, long time." Turns out he was right!
