He entertained the masses with this horror murder mystery and his one of a kind carnival style antics to promote the film. A new company, Dark Castle, would be created and inspired by William Castle with its first film being the 1999 remake of House on Haunted Hill starring Geoffrey Rush, Famke Janssen, Taye Diggs, Peter Gallagher, Chris Kattan, Ali Larter, Bidgette Wilson-Sampson, and Jeffrey Combs. This week Invasion of the Remake takes the challenge to stay one night in the House on Haunted Hill to see which film will win the cash and which film should be pitched into the acid pit.
