After grad school and a few years of nomadic existence, Ingram found a new tribe in the students of the newly-formed California Institute of the Arts, a sort of hippie creative haven where students were free to find inspiration from wherever they could. This was where Ingram really dove into world music, and how he found himself in Indonesia for the first time.  That trip would change his music forever. - Nadia Sirota
