Russell "Hitman" Alexander formed the Hitman Blues Band in 1986 and has toured the world with his collection of top-flight musicians.
Their 2008 release, Pale Rider was nominated for 4 Grammy Awards. Now, the band has released its 5th album, Blues Enough and I will sit with Russell to discuss the band's history and what he sees for the future.
Rickey Godfrey came to my attention at this year's IBCs and I knew I had to speak with this gentleman and let him tell his story.
Rickey plays both guitar and piano while singing his heart out on stage.  His music is a mix of blues and R&B with some rock to even it all out.
I will chat with Rickey about his career while we listen to music from his latest, Nasty Man.
Annie Mack made it to the IBC in 2012 from her home in Minnesota and she caused many a head to turn with her gritty blues vocals.
She has new music out, Fool To Believe and has begun her journey to try and make it back to Memphis for the next IBC.  I will chat with Annie about her life, her beliefs and her music.
The first Monday of the month means Chefjimi Patricola will bring the Blues411 Report to The Couch and I am sure we will be discussing the big RAISE THE ROOF benefit he hosted on March 24th with Earl Thomas.
