Jason Vivone and the Billy Bats come out of Kansas City with an attitude and a ton of talent.  Jason has made the IBC as a solo/duo artist and with his band.  The new album The Avenue honors the neighborhood in Kansas City where Jason lived in the early 90’s.  We will talk about his journey, the new music and more.

Reggie Wayne Morris comes out of Baltimore, MD.  He has just released Don’t Bring Me Daylight, a collection of 11 originals and covers, filled with a solid Blues feel.  Reggie and I will talk about his career and the new album and where he is headed.

Johnny Rawls originally Sat On The Couch on March 18, 2013.  Johnny’s new album Tiger In A Cage has garnered him another BMA Nomination for “Soul Blues Male Artist”.  The album contains 12 tracks including 9 originals.  What has Johnny been up to since we last spoke?  We’ll talk about recording his 2014 album Soul Brothers with Otis Clay and more.

Another Couch Kid New Music Segment, this one with our friend Anni Piper.  The album releases this week and a program rescheduling allowed me to slide Anni into this week’s show.  We’ll talk about the new album, More Guitars Than Friends, and find out how Anni is doing as a resident of Florida.
