So Thrilled! A short two weeks after his induction in the Blues Hall Of Fame, Eddy “The Chief” Clearwater  came by and I had a great conversation about his growing up in Mississippi, moving to Chicago and his years of performing while we checked out tunes from Soul Funky.

The Honey Island Swamp Band formed in California after Katrina had displaced the members, they have been making music over the last 10 years. Luther Dickinson produced their new album, Demolition Day.  Aaron Wilkinson joined me to tell us his journey and the circumstances behind the band's formation.  He also discussed the progression of the band's music over their first 5 allbums.

Couch Kid New Music brought Bridget Kelly and Tim Fik back to The Couch to talk about their new album Outta The Blue.  These two have become good friends and it was fun to share their new music about a week before the album releases.
