OPENS THE SHOW - The band Miles is Marc Plotkin (saxophone, vocals, guitar) and Ben Jacobs (bass, vocals), and together they bring a new fresh sound based in rock/jazz/power pop/funk soul and improvisation. From the NY/NJ metro area, these two are making a name for themselves and we are lucky to grab them before they take off. Their new album, "As Fast As You Can", is a collection of songs that get into your head and do not leave you alone. We will explore the backgrounds of Marc and Ben, how they came together and developed this sound. We will talk about what is happening in their world today and where they are heading as well as listen to some of their music. As always, we invite you to sit with us as we introduce these new artists.

We will gt to hear cuts from the bands album, "Beale Street to the Bayou", which is getting major airplay on blues stations here in the US and in Europe.
