Tee Dee Young began playing guitar early on, sitting by the railroad tracks and playing away.
He met and was mentored on guitar by a gentleman named Harrison Coleman. His vocal prowess came from his dad, a Gospel Singer.
Starting his first band at 14, Tee Dee has been working at his craft ever since. In 2011 he came to the IBC and his band won the title of 2011 Beale Street Blues Kings, awarded by the Beale Street Merchants Association.
I will chat with tee Dee as we listen to his music.
Hank Mowery began hitting the local Michigan scene in the 90’s.  Managing a restaurant that had live blues acts, Hank was able to join in the late night jams and perfect his harp skills.
He has played with his moving lineup of Hawktones ever since.  In 2009 Hank decided to solidify the lineup and since then he and the band have been touring and sharing their music with fans all over.
The new album is entitled Account To Me, a collaboration project with the family of Gary Primich, featuring 2 previously unrecorded/unreleased songs from Gary!
