The release of Bettye LaVette’s collection of Bob Dylan songs, Things Have Changed, inspired this week’s show. We’ll play the very first recording on “Blowin' in the Wind,” a take on “Mr. Tambourine Man” by one of the men featured on the cover of his John Wesley Harding album, and a great instrumental by Steve Gadd and the Gadd Gang. All these are woven into a program alongside Dylan covers from Tracy Nelson, Jimmy LaFave, Bumper Jacksons, Darrell Scott and many more (we even slip in a couple by Bob himself). Reacquaint yourself with the music of Bob Dylan … this week on The Sing Out! Radio Magazine.
