CMLL President Paco Alonso gave Chris Jericho his first big break, and his first taste of stardom. Paco was the first to put Chris on TV, on the cover of a magazine, and in a championship match. He came up with the “Corazon de Leon” name, and also got Chris to wrestle in Japan for the first time. And so Chris pays tribute to his recently departed mentor and the man who had such a profound effect on his wrestling career with this touching episode that recounts how Chris first met Paco in Mexico City, and all that he learned in his 2 years working for Paco. You’ll hear stories about Hector Guerrero, Norman Smiley, King Haku, and Plaza Madrid, and the reason why Chris eventually stopped working in Mexico.
