The Americana Music Association  defines the music style as contemporary music incorporating elements of various American roots music styles, specifically those sounds that are emerged from the Southern States  including country, roots rock, folk, bluegrass, R and B and blues, resulting in a distinctive roots-oriented sound that lives in a world apart from the pure forms of the genres upon which it may draw.

Since it incorporates country, roots rock, folk, bluegrass, R and B and blues music, it looks like something we needed to investigate, so here we go with the Trick’s Synthetic podcast Americana festival of the air.
