Greetings and welcome to our Non-Christmas Special to end the year. Put down those mince pies, let the turkey go, and slip away from those annoying relatives for a quiet-ish hour of trad (mostly) music - remember to take a strong drink with you.

Some submissions are included to fulfil our gift of giving, along with some of the best established artists. And once again we manage to disturb the equilibrium of foreign policy by assaulting the Gaelic and Welsh languages, and probably English as well just to make the set.

We're never far away from a joke about hair which if you've seen our mug shots will make sense.

And those who can actually make their own instruments and play them, well, that's just too clever by half.

See you next year with more of the same old tosh, and keeping the tradition alive - or not, as the case may be. Felicitations and humbugs to you all.

Toodle pip!
