Two Brothers, one podcast and a whole bunch of theology. If you love theology, interviews and a few laughs here and there, this is the podcast for you. Welcome to the Emmaus Project podcast where we remind you that Jesus loves exposition. Here at the Emmaus Project podcast we are all about exposition. Our favorite preachers are expositors, we ourselves are expositors and we are convinced of the importance and need for exposition. Our name comes from Luke 24:13-33. In this passage, the two disciples were walking home after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. As they were traveling, Jesus approached them and they did not recognize Him. Jesus asked them what they were discussing and the disciple answered things about Jesus the Nazarene. The disciples failed to understand that Jesus was the Messiah, the Son of God. Jesus then began to explain the Scriptures to them. It is the Emmaus Project podcast’s firm conviction that the world has two fundamental problems, they do not understand the Scriptures and they misunderstand Jesus. It is our goal to explain the Scriptures and encourage our listeners to fall in love with the Word of God. It is our heartfelt desire to have God’s Word as the authority of the church. So join us for this Christ centered, biblical concentrated, and Gospel focused podcast.

Behold Finders Keepers, a British record label, 40 years in the making, introducing fans of psychedelic / jazz / folk / funk / avant-garde and whacked-out movie musak to a lost world of undiscovered vinyl artifacts from the annals of alternative pop history.
Catering to record collectors and DJ-producers alike with a huge emphasis on sample friendly soundscapes, rocksteady back-beats and primitive electronic experimentalism. Discerning purveyors of the bizarre and abnormal should expect the Japanese choreography records, space-age Turkish protest songs, Czechoslovakian vampire soundtracks, Welsh rare-beats, bubblegum folk, drugsploitation operatics, banned British crime thrillers and celebrity Gallic Martini adverts... presented on CD, 7" and traditional black plastic discs in authentic packaging.
Following in the very same footsteps as the mind boggling "Music To Watch Girls Cry" and "Songs In The Key Of Death" mix CDs for Fat City Records and the original 5-star rated Finders Keepers compilation LP in 2001, Manc-based vinyl-vulture, recording artist and record producer Andy Votel enlists the skills of fellow B-Music DJ and Rare Disc Detective Doug Shipton to form a team of psychedelic librarians and cosmic-pop-quiz-elitists to run their new Twisted Nerve distant sister-label, leaving no progressive pebble unturned or record collection un-rifled.
Future compilations and re-issues will feature collaborative curators such as David Holmes, Cherrystones and Bob Stanley and further contributions from mystery A- / B+ pop-celebrity fanatics of outsider music and ultra-rare bakelite discs. Finders Keepers is an 'accidental world music label' with a punk aesthetic and DJ friendly ethos which allows the desperate listener to sit back while we deliver schizoid cultural channel-hopping compilations and rocking-horse-shit & hen's-teeth re-releases to the comfort of your psych-starved living room...

Though carols are traditionally associated with Christmas, this was not always the case. “Carol” comes from the French word 'carole' which means circle dance accompanied by singing. It was part of any festivity and gradually came to be associated with holidays like Christmas. In England, festivities were banned following the Civil War and Protestantism, but many song writers and Protestants wrote musical works to be sung at Christmas and these were referred to as “carols.”
Today, Christmas anywhere in the world is incomplete without carol singers and songs. They celebrate the season, the birth of Christ, the joy of the holidays and convey good wishes and cheer to listeners. Many famous carols are written in German, French and Latin as well as English.
The Christmas Carol Collection by Various includes some traditional and some modern day carols, all of which embody the spirit of the festive season. The first one, Christ Was Born on Christmas Day is a 13th century song, which was once very popular all over Europe. The original Latin was translated by John Mason Neale, an eminent English clergyman, in the nineteenth century. American lyricist Charlotte Homer's delightful 1902 Christmas Lullaby follows next, set to music by Charles Gabriel Hutchinson.
The famous and charming carol, The Twelve Days of Christmas, which was once a popular English folk song is also included here. It was first published in England in 1780 without music and was meant to be chanted. Come All You Merry Gentlemen, a 19th century song, follows. Est ist ein Ros entsprungen a beautiful 15th century German carol is next on the list. This song may be more familiar as Lo How a Rose e'er Blooming to the English speaking world. Gesu Bambino, a delightful Italian song was set to music by Frederick Herman Martens. The famous African-American gospel song, Go Tell it on the Mountain is a rousing anthem to the glory of God. A fifteenth century Sussex carol, the 19th century Boston carol, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, the traditional yet popular English carol I Saw Three Ships, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's charming I Heard The Bells on Christmas Day, Eduard Ebel's 1895 German song, Leise Reiselt der Schnee and more are included in this collection.
These lovely carols invoke the theme of this most enjoyable festival, which conveys the message of hope and eternal life hereafter.
