Lucija Mrzljak is a Croatian an illustrator and animation director, based in Estonia.
She studied at the Academy of Fine arts in Zagreb and made her first film experimental films in a collective laboratory preserving analog film practices. She went to the fine art academy in Prague where she focused on illustration, printing and book design. And in 2016, she graduated in animation as a student of Priit and Olga Pärn, with two graduation films "Shuma" and "Corner". From that, she has collaborated on and directed several animated short films in Eesti Joonisfilm in Tallinn and Adriatic Animation in Zagreb, including "A Demonstration of brilliance in four acts" and recently "The Stork", who won the public award and a jury special mention at Animafest Zagreb.
