Animation Hotline is a voicemail for lonely animation filmmakers and artists. The cancellation of so many festivals lately has stopped happy spontaneous discussions. I wanted to hear and share news from those animation creators, giving them the opportunity to leave a message, without any pressure. Animation Hotline c'est une messagerie vocale pour auteurs et artistes isolé.e.s. L'annulation de trop nombreux festivals depuis plus d'un an a coupé court aux heureuses discussions spontanées. J'ai eu envie de prendre et de donner des nouvelles de ces créatrices et auteurs d'animation, en leur laissant la liberté de s'exprimer sans pression de l'immédiateté.

Will Anderson is a writer and director from Scotland.
In 2012, he co-directed the short film ‘The Making of Longbird’ along with Ainslie Henderson. They received numerous distinctions and created then the film ‘Monkey Love Experiments’, using a fine storytelling in a melancholic universe. Will also directed 'Have Heart' and lately "Betty".
Besides his personal projects, he works as a freelance writer, director & animator on film, television, web & interactive projects, often collaborating with his fellow Ainslie Henderson.

Ainslie is a writer, director and animator, and was also used to be a popstar in his early days... I discovered him at Ottawa festival, with his stirring short film ‘I Am Tom Moody’.
He directed the delicate music video "Moving on" that was awarded several times and his latest short film called ‘Stems".
Since then, he and his creative partner, Will Anderson produced several commission films, merging their styles, technics and universes as a single voice.
