This past Sunday was the final preliminary of the Ct Blues Society’s Solo/Duo Competition and this week’s winners were Mark Crofutt and Joel Blumert. So on Sunday Oct 20 at 5pm at the Pine Loft in Berlin the Finals begin. the competitors are: Petey Hop & Manny Boy, Kelly Rago & Trevor West, Swamp Shaka & Tony C, Dirty 2:30, Joel Blumert and Mark Crofutt. ⅔ of the field has either been to Memphis in either the Band or solo/duo competition so all performers know what ti takes to win here and perform well in Memphis. Good Luck to all the competitors. If you are going get there early because the place fills up really fast. If you see me please say hello.
