The first story last week was about Bob Dylan being inducted into the Academy of Arts and Letters. He is the first rock star ever inducted into the “honor society.” For more on this story you can go to:

The last piece this week was about Gregg Allman ‘s autobiography being made into a movie. Original Allman Brothers music will be used in the movie, and re-recordings of live Allman performances will be created for the film. In addition, “Cross to Bear” will begin shooting in Georgia, the famous long-time stomping grounds of the band, and home to the Allman Brothers Band Museum.
