With Marcy Playground, John has released 4 albums, with their debut album being certified platinum in the US, and the band’s 1997 hit “Sex and Candy” spent 15 weeks at number one on the U.S. Modern Rock Tracks chart. John continues to write and tour with Marcy Playground, with intimate & interactive shows in Southern Ontario from April 20th to 23rd in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their self titled album just around the corner. In this interview, we hear about John's collaborative process, what's coming up for Marcy Playground, and the advice he'd offer to his fellow musicians.
