L'un des challenges les plus sévères pour le modèle cosmologique standard ΛCDM à l'échelle des galaxies est l'existence de plans de rotation pour les galaxies satellites autour de grandes galaxies. De tels plans de galaxies satellites en rotation cohérente ont été observés autour de la galaxie d'Andromèe et autour de la Voie Lactée. En 2018, des signes similaires avaient été aperçus également autour de la galaxie elliptique Centaurus A. Aujourd'hui, de nouvelles observations sur cette galaxie viennent confirmer la présence d'un plan de rotation... L'étude est publiée dans Astronomy&Astrophysics.
