GW200129 est un train d'ondes gravitationnelles qui a été détecté le 29 janvier 2020 et qui a été produit par la fusion de deux trous noirs de 39 et 22 masses solaires. Mais l'un des deux trous noirs était atypique, avec une rotation extrême sur lui même et un axe de rotation très désaligné, ce qui a généré un phénomène de précession relativiste très intense. Un phénomène qu'ont pu observer une équipe de chercheurs pour la première fois. Ils publient leur étude dans Nature.
