USA TODAY colleague Desair Brown joins the Dad Rock guys this week, introducing them to "the biggest band you've never heard."

Christian rock act Hillsong United can fill arenas around the world, yet the Australian band is still mostly unknown outside worship circles. That may change with the release this week of "Let Hope Rise," a feature documentary on the group's two-decade career.

Desair talks about her connection to Hillsong United, which leads to a discussion about religion's place in popular music, and vice versa.

Desair fills in for Mary Nahorniak, who normally joins Dad Rock on Tuesdays but is out on maternity leave.

'Tuesdays With Mary'/'Tuesdays Without Mary' is a weekly feature of Dad Rock, a music podcast from USA TODAY hosted by Patrick Foster and Jim Lenahan.
