This past two weeks have been a mirror of America’s past. Mitchell and Amy confront their white privilege and focus on songs that highlight the themes of hope, protest, and discontent in these current times. There is always something that we can do better within ourselves and within this culture. It just takes looking at ourselves honestly, recognizing the flaws, and working towards change, equality, and equity for everyone who lives here.
