C'est un terme qu'on retrouve dans le milieu de la nutrition et du sport depuis quelques années maintenant, que ce soit dans les livres ou sur internet et qui désigne basiquement la quantité de calories journalières que l'on doit ingérer pour faire varier son poids dans un sens ou dans l'autre ou bien le maintenir.
