Welcome to episode 1251, in which host Victoria Cece interviews William Goldschmidt this week on The Next Generation.

The Next Generation where Victoria Cece interviews young Italian wine people shaking up the wine scene.

More about today’s guest:

William grew up surrounded by an agricultural environment - his family estate where they have an agriturismo producing olive oil, several wines, and cheeses from their own milk. Since he was a teenager, William decided that he was curious about the greater wine world and moved up to Piedmont to study enology and viticulture. As soon as he graduated in 2013, he put his studies to the test by turning them into experiences. He did 11 total harvests around the world, returning in 2018 to dedicate himself to his family winery - Corzano e Paterno in Tuscany. Today, he splits his time between Corzano and his new project, Clivo Altura.

More about the host:

Victoria Cece is a food and beverage storyteller whose curiosity is somewhere deep in a bowl of pasta or a bottle of wine. A fool for history, you can find her reading up about ancient grape varietals or wandering around a little Italian town eating everything in sight, under her alias Slutti Spaghetti.
