Il Museo Vivente della Dieta Mediterranea is Pioppi's premier tribute to Ancel Keys. Indeed, it was precisely in the Cilento area that the American scientist carried on his studies on the Mediterranean diet for over 40 years, which in 2010 obtained the recognition of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity from Unesco.
