Italian Wine Podcast episode 536

Rebecca Lawrence sits down with Janice Wang in this new episode of "Voices", the segment where we bring light on some of the less discussed issues in the wine world.

Janice is an experimental psychologist and computer scientist by training (not to mention pastry chef and wine educator!). She works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Food Science at Aarhus University. Her research examines multisensory flavour perception and preference, with on a focus on how environmental (like background music) and cognitive factors (like expertise) can modify and enhance the way we perceive food and drink.

Janice holds the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Diploma certification, she was president and varsity captain of the Oxford University Blind Tasting Society from 2015-2017 and regularly teaches wine tasting and have completed the WSET educator course.

There's just so much more about Janice, but you'll have to find out yourself!
