L.A. Playlist, c’est d’abord une rencontre, une envie, une idée. La rencontre entre Louis Hélaine et Antoine Buisson, deux univers musicaux complexes qui trouvent progressivement leur complémentarité dans leur ouverture et leur envie de découvrir et faire découvrir de nouveaux horizons musicaux à d’autres. C’est à force de journées, de soirées, de concerts et d’expositions passées à écouter et rencontrer de nombreux artistes, que l’idée de L.A. Playlist émerge ; et avec elle, l’ambiance dans laquelle ses auteurs vont se plonger. Bien qu’influencés par de grandes figures qui aident à la construction du concept et de l’identité de l’émission, c’est véritablement avec Kendrick Lamar et son morceau « FEAR. » que l’atmosphère de L.A. Playlist va trouver son expression. Le concept est simple : vivre pleinement une semaine autour d’une couleur musicale sélectionnée avec soin.
