In2014,India’sDuteeChandwasarisingfemaletrackandfieldstar,crushingnationalrecords.Butthen,thatsummer,somethingunexpectedhappened:shefailedagendertest.Andwasbannedfromthesport.Beforesheknewit,Duteewasthrownintothemiddleofacontroversythatstartedlongbeforeher,andcontinuesontoday:howtoseparatemalesandfemalesinsport.Firstairedin2018,Duteeandthestoryoffemaleathletesinsportarebackinthespotlightthisweek,attheTokyoOlympics.JoinusforanupdateonDutee’ssecondOlympicgames,andthecontinuedroletestosteronehasinshapingwhoisonthetrack,andwhoisoff.
