Today, with fidget spinners in hand, the Tunes & Tumblers regulars sit down with Waterparks’ Awsten Knight to sip on a spirit-free glass of cherry, cherry and, surprise surprise, tuna fish. Jk, it’s more cherry. While we discuss everything from synesthesia to Lilly’s cynical takes on music’s industrial commodification, we bop our heads and tap our toes to the tune of “Brainwashed,” Waterparks’ newest single off their upcoming album Intellectual Property. RED DRINK

1/2 Jar Maraschino Cherry Juice

1/2 oz Lemon Juice

1 drop Lavender Oil

10 Maraschino Cherries

Sparkling Rosé Apple Cider

1 tsp Tropical Punch Kool Aid

1. Stack Maraschino Cherries in 1 cube of a large square ice tray

2. Add lemon juice and lavender oil

3. Fill with Maraschino Cherry Juice and freeze

4. Add frozen cube to lowball glass, top with Sparkling Rosé Apple Cider, sift Kool Aid powder, and you’ll soon start seeing red
