Founder: Stefi Talman

Stefi Talman, born Stefanie Thalman on January 3, 1958, in Zurich, Switzerland, is a renowned shoe designer known for her innovative approach to footwear. She studied at the Zurich University of the Arts and completed advanced training in shoemaking at the Ars Sutoria Institute in Milan.

In 1979, Talman opened her first atelier in Zurich, where she introduced the iconic ZIP half-boot with an angled zipper in 1980, which became a global trendsetter. Although her initial label closed in 1986, she continued to influence the fashion industry through collaborations and a successful relaunch in 1994.

Talman’s designs are known for their playful use of colors and materials, combining elegance with functionality. Her collections are not only stylish but also focus on sustainability, accompanying people in everyday life and special occasions.

In 2024, Stefi Talman founded VivaCrocs.com, a Business-to-Customer online marketplace offering unique Crocs items.
