Brew House Arts is showing an exhibition for the culmination of their 2024-2025 Distillery Artists Residency Program!
Program and Marketing Coordinator Brent Nakamoto and artist Alli Lemon talk about the exhibition, titled On the Edge Of... and how each artist has approached creativity via their personal stories, vulnerabilities, and anxieties. There’s an opening reception on April 17th from 6 to 8:30 pm, which will feature a mini gallery exhibition and edible cake art!
Alli also talks about her art journey, from Tennessee to Colorado to Pittsburgh, where she currently works and teaches. She and Brent discuss her MFA and how the art scene is changing to be more accessible for self-taught artists without art degrees.
You can see On the Edge Of... at Brew House Arts from April 17th to June 7th. Don’t miss the opening reception on April 17th. There will also be an Artists Panel on May 15th from 7 to 9 pm. The exhibiting artists will talk about their art and the Distillery Program.
