Who doesn't love a good murder mystery?

The Summer Company, affiliated with Duquesne University, is performing an East Coast premiere of Agatha Christie's "The Murder of Roger Ackroyd". Director Heather Ruppert, and lead actor playing Dr. James Sheppard, Frank Schurter, talk about the upcoming production.

Founded in the 1990's, The Summer Company produces classic, adapted classics, and original works with old and new friends, some of who are alumni from Duquesne University. Heather talks about this new adaptation, just approved by Agatha Christie's estate. This story is different from other Agatha Christie mystery's, as it is told in the first person.

Frank talks about play Dr. Sheppard, an affable and likeable guy onstage and in the script. He describes never leaving the stage throughout the show, and the challenges with that. Frank has been with the Summer Company for a while, and looks forward to another production!

You can see "The Murder of Roger Ackroyd" from June 19th-21st, and June 26th-28th at the Genesius Theater. Parking is available at Duquesne University's Locust Garage.
