Andrew Graham rejoins Sean Comer and Mark Radulich as they review Peter Jackson's second trip to Middle Earth, #TheHobbit. Since BTR cut off our LRTR Lord of the Rings show, we'll spend a few minutes concluding our discussion of Return of the King. After that we'll dive right into all the pre-production issues that plagued the Hobbit Trilogy. We'll talk about the special editions and debate whether #PeterJackson should have tried to keep it to 2 movies

The Hobbit is a film series consisting of three high fantasy adventure films directed by Peter Jackson. They are based on the 1937 novel The Hobbit by #JRRTolkien , with large portions of the trilogy inspired by the appendices to The Return of the King, which expand on the story told in The Hobbit, as well as new material and characters written especially for the films. The films are subtitled An Unexpected Journey (2012), The Desolation of Smaug (2013), and The Battle of the Five Armies (2014).
