En m'appuyant sur des bouquins et des discographies, j'essaie de comprendre ce qui nourrit leur musique, ce qu'elle veut nous dire. Surtout, je cherche à savoir ce qui me bouleverse dans les mélodies de ces individus parfois peu recommandables. Si vous aimez les stars déchues, les perdants magnifiques, les héros sacrifiés et les méchants romanesques qui hantent vos oreilles, Graine de Violence est pour vous.

Nostalgie des années 50 et 60

Christian a découvert le rock 'n roll en 1956 grâce à un voisin officier GI dont le fils avait son âge et qui travaillait sur la base américaine de Rocquencourt en Seine & Oise, qui lui achetait des 78t d'Elvis. En 1960 il découvre Johnny et se fait offrir pour ses 14 ans une place au premier festival international de rock 'n roll au Palais des Sports de Paris . Depuis cette musique ne l'a pas quittée . En 1966/67 il vend ses photos dans les concerts de Johnny puis en 1969 fait la tournée d'été de Claude François toujours pour y vendre ses propres photos. Puis il fréquentera Gilbert Montagné, Adamo et bien d'autres. Son émission raconte des souvenirs des anecdotes de cette époque entrecoupées de titres connus mais aussi très rares de la période 1950/1960 . Uniquement en vinyle, pas de MP3 , pas de CD .

Ma volonté est de collecter ces mémoires au travers d’interviews. Pour raconter sa relation au Swing, pour que les petites histoires nourrissent la grande Histoire. Comment le Swing s’est installé durablement en France ? En Provence ? En Europe ? Dans le monde ? Je pars à la rencontre des danseurs-danseuses, musiciens-musiciennes, organisateurs-organisatrices. Each indiviual who is passionate about swing dancing bears a memory which contributes to building the great collective memory of jazz swing and swing dances. The purpose of my work is to collect those memories through interviews. So that everyone can get to talk about their relationship with Swing, in order for personal stories to feed a greater History. How has swing managed to settle in France? In the Provence region? In Europe? In the world? I am following a path which leads me to the encounter of dancers, musicians and event organisers.
